These Gratitude Crystals are only available after defeating the Imprisoned for the 2nd time as well as having gone through the sidequest of breaking Pumm's chandelier and helping him get a new one. If you need help with the chandelier quest then check the video linked below.

At the Lumpy Pumpkin, once all other conditions have been met, you will find Kina outside. She say tell you it's time to plant the seeds, but that plowing the field is a lot of work. Tell Kina that you know of someone and Fi will show up and ask if you'd like to be able to dowse for such a person. Tell Fi yes or no, it doesn't matter and then head to Eldin Province.

The closest bird statue to where you want to go is called "Volcano East". If you can't land at that one then land at whatever bird statue you can that's towards the bottom of the volcano.

From "Volcano East" go down the path a little until you reach the 2 wind geysers. Ride the 1 up to the opening in the structure and jump down. As you're falling through the air you'll want to land on the pillar with Guld the Mogma which is the pillar that is between the ledge with the treasure chest and the pillar with the Goddess Cube on it. Talk to Guld and have Scrapper take him up to the sky.

Head back up to the Lumpy Pumpkin and Scrapper will drop Guld off. After a brief example of his work Kina will be so pleased you'll be given 5 Gratitude Crystals.
