This sidequest becomes available after starting the Gratitude Crystals sidequest and defeating the Imprisoned the 2nd time.

At some point during the game you may have noticed that the fortune teller is no longer in his little hut in the bazaar. Instead he can be found in his house moping over the fact that his trusty crystal ball has a slightly sizeable crack in it.

Tell Sparrot that you'll find him a replacement crystal ball and Fi will appear and ask if you'd like to dowse for it. Answer her however you'd like then head to Eldin Province.

The absolute best bird statue to land at is called "Temple Entrance". The next best is "Volcano Ascent". If neither are an option for you then just land wherever and make your way to the Earth Temple entrance.

To the left of (if facing) the Earth Temple entrance is a very tiny pool of water and next to it is a diggable spot where you can dig out a wind geyser. Take the gust of wind up and look toward the temple. Use the Clawshots on the target to the left then walk over to and examine the crystal ball sitting on the post nearby.

Have Scrapper take the crystal ball up to the sky and head back to Sparrot's house. Sparrot will be grateful for the new crystal ball and you'll get yourself 5 more Gratitude Crystals.
