In this tutorial, I’ll show you where Sticky Notes are saved on your Windows computer. Whether you're using Windows 10 or Windows 11, follow these steps to find and access your Sticky Notes files.

Sticky Notes in Windows doesn’t save data in a simple text file like Notepad. Instead, it uses a database called plum.sqlite, which stores all the notes. This database is an SQLite file. In this guide, we’ll show you where Sticky Notes are physically located in which folder in Windows 11.
To transfer your notes to another computer, simply copy the plum.sqlite file and paste it in the same directory on the new computer. When you open Sticky Notes on that system, all your notes will appear.
