hey there. this is Ray2222 world record Gorf player. This is the controller I used, and this is how I get it working after the systems been off too long.

The longer the systems been off the longer it takes.

This technique also works with the number pad.

I really needed my 2 key for Countermeasure, a key never known to work on this controller. Ive cleaned this number pad and still couldnt get it going in the past.. but BAM! I wiggled rubbed n' jammed into it with enough will power to bring it back just like the Triggers.

Classic games all have their nack.. 5200 takes it rough. Give it all you got and bring those puppys back to life!

I prefer this controller in particular, it's the US model with shallow fire buttons.

it's joystick boot's 👢 center ring also has a tear, which is great for the games you don't want that shit piece of rubber pulling on you.

rant.

it's sturdy gears feel great, and the boot takes that away. Boots are for games like PacMan which are better off with other joysticks anyway. "like the spring loaded Wico or digital options"

some ppl even prefer bootless for Gorf, Star Wars Arcade, Kaboom, and Super Breakout, but I say a touch of padding is nice. all it takes is a small tear to rid the pull and free your experience.

Gorf record holder speaking.

also the Missile Command record holder for Lvlupscore.

all because of this magic controller that I will back to life every time.

check out my latest video where I become Colonel to the Gorf resistance. at the end I give an up close look at this mystical shallow button torn boot👢heaven pad..

..currently uploading.. April 6th 2022

I can't play Gorf with anything else, especially not a prestine boot controller. the Wico with self centering turned off is alright but too loose. a 5200 standard without centering boot is better.

you wouldn't play Breakout if the paddle centered, so why should the stick?

Kaboom 5200 record holder as well. "always video proof."

always this controller
