Explanation: Running the game with SLI or CrossFire can result in a client being stuck at 'Login' or 'Getting Character List' or 'Connect with gameservers Europe/US'.
As a work-around you can disable SLI/Crossfire or you can run the game in Display Option 'Windowed (Borderless)' as that forces to shutdown one of the GPU's.
When you get error 3003 you need to setup your Video in Windowed or Fullscreen Windowed mode. Standard it is on Fullscreen but then you won't be able to login and start.
I am on Windows 8 Public Consumer Preview Edition when testing this Diablo III beta.
Note: after the beta closed it seems you still can get the error wich means Blizzard closed the server doors. Later when Diablo 3 goes live this can be helpfull if the problem still exists cause this isn't bugfixed yet.
