In this video, I’ll show you how to fix the issue of the missing "Check for Updates" button in Windows. If you're unable to find or use the update option, follow the steps provided in this tutorial to restore it.
The Settings app has undergone significant improvements since its debut in Windows 11, and the Creators Update has enhanced the experience even further, introducing several new features, including the ability to hide specific pages within the app.
For IT administrators or users who share their computers with friends and family, giving full access to the Settings app can sometimes lead to unintended misconfigurations. Previously, the only options were to either show all settings or hide them completely. However, with version 1703 of Windows 10, a new feature was introduced that allows you to restrict access to certain sections of the Settings app, similar to how you can block certain areas in the Control Panel.
This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 11 & Windows 10 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, and Samsung).
