Need for Speed as a franchise went from perhaps one of the biggest names and influencers in the industry to just another option in a growing catalogue of racing games. Despite their best efforts to stay relevant, fresh and radical, it has only helped them that much. So, what went wrong in the end? And how can they stand apart from the rest and ascend again to the pinnacle of racing experiences?
