PCI-E 4.0 NVME drives are fast but too hot! Samsung 980 Pro is probably one of the hottest NVME SSD due to its blazing fast speed. In this video I will show you how to reduce its load operational temp below 50C (Ambient Temp for the tests is 26C).
You will need a special NVME radiator and Noctua smallest fan NF A4x10 FLX. The radiator doesn’t have any brackets so you should use zip ties as shown in the video. Attach the NF A4x10 FLX with zip ties to the radiator. And just check the amazing temps you get! This fix works with any NVME drive - WD Black SN850, Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus, Silicon Power US70, Corsair Force Series MP600, etc.
