How to fix "Screen overlay detected" error!! - Howtosolveit
Do you encountered the Screen overlay detected error on your Android smartphone & you want to Disable or Turn Off Screen Overlay, here's a step-by-step guide on how to fix it. Android suddenly warns you that a screen overlay has been detected. The easy solution to solve "Screen overlay detected" uninstall apps like Cleaner, Drupe, ES File explorer, File Manager or any battery saving app like clean master or DU_Battery saver apps.
Find you what apps have permission to draw over the screen. On a non-Samsung smartphone, follow these steps:
How to Access the “Draw Over Other Apps” Menu
-Open the Settings
-Tap the magnifying glass at the top right
-Enter the search term “draw”
-Tap Draw over other apps
**Alternative route: Apps then Draw over other apps
Sometimes when this error is generated, it will include an “Open Settings” link that will send you directly into the “Draw over other apps” menu. The rough part is that each app has to be toggled manually–just tap on an app, slide the “Permit Drawing Over Other Apps” toggle, and go back. Here is are some pointers on how to identify the app that’s causing trouble:
1- Do you see an app bubble on your screen? If do, this app is almost certainly the cause. Either you hide the app bubble or disable the app in the list
2- Do you have an app installed that changes the colors on the display or adjusts the brightness?
3- Clean Master can be a trouble maker. If you see Clean Master in the list, disable it, If there’s no obvious cause, disable everything.
