How to fix slow Google Chrome browser? In this tutorial, I show you how to fix Google Chrome taking too long to load websites. To speed up Google Chrome we check for unwanted extensions and perform a reset of the Google Chrome browser. If those fixes don't speed up your browser we dig into the Windows 10 settings to help fix any network issues on your computer. Follow the steps below to delete an extension or app from Chrome that could be slowing it down:
1. Open the Google Chrome browser.
2. Open the Chrome settings by first selecting the 3 dots in the top right of Chrome and then selecting More Tools in the menu.
3. Once in More Tools, select Extensions.
4. You will now see all the extensions and apps installed to your Google Chrome browser. Find the extension or app you want to uninstall and select Remove.
Follow the steps below to reset your Google Chrome browser:
1. Open the Google Chrome browser.
2. Open the Chrome settings by first selecting the 3 dots in the top right of Chrome and then selecting Settings in the menu.
3. In the left sidebar of the Chrome settings, select Advanced and then Reset and clear up.
4. Once on Reset and clean up, select Restore settings to their original defaults.
5. Select Reset settings.
6. Google Chrome will now restart. Once it opens back up see if it has sped up.

Fix Windows 10 network issues causing Chrome to run slow:
1. Right-click the Windows 10 start button.
2. Select either Command Prompt (Admin) or Windows Powershell (Admin)
3. Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
4. Type netsh int ip reset and press Enter.
5. Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
6. Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
7. Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
8. Restart your computer.
