How to Fix Taskbar Not Hiding in Fullscreen Mode on Windows 10/11 (2024)
If your taskbar isn’t hiding in fullscreen mode, it may be due to app notifications, system settings, or a minor glitch. First, try restarting Windows Explorer by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager, then locate Windows Explorer, right-click, and select Restart. Ensure Auto-hide the taskbar is enabled in Settings , Personalization , Taskbar. Also, check for any pinned apps causing notifications and dismiss them. If the issue persists, update your graphics drivers and ensure your system is up to date.
