So basically head over to settings. Then got to messages. The scroll down until you see Filter Unknown Senders. Then your IPhone should work for Messages. The bug happens when a unknown sender sends you that message. Then when you open it back up your phone sees that message and crashes. When you filter the unknown senders you can then text anyone else you want!
