*The first thing to do is restart the tiktok application. Close the tiktok app completely by removing it from recent app switcher then finally open the tiktok application from your home page. Then see it if that works. If it works than that's great if not then another thing you can do is open your app store or play store to check out for the updates and search for tiktok.. Update the application if you have not updates your tiktok app.( If there is no option for updates, that means you are up to date) Now go back to tiktok and try sending message to one of the contact.
*The next thing to do is to switch between mobile and data. Make sure to choose the strong internet connection inorder to view all the contents on tiktok easily with out any kinds of disturbance.
* Another thing is check the privacy setting for your message if above step is still not helping by clicking on "Me" button on the right corner of your profile. Tap on the three dots that's on upper right corner. Select "Privacy" under "Account" tab. and under safety you will able to see comment options. Simply tap on comments and under who can comment on your videos check out on every one of friends. Now go under comment filters and temporarily switch off the filters that says" filter span and offensive comments" and then filter keywords.
* Now the last thing you can do is try clearing tiktok cache and data. You can also clear your app data within the application. From your profile tap on the three dots at the upper right corner and then from this page scroll all the way down under cache and cellular data. Now tap on free up space in the cache menu tap on the clear button at the right corner and once you do that tap on the clear from the pop up. You can also clear tiktok cache from your settings menu. Simply go to settings from your phone and scroll all the way down and tap on apps. From the list of the application search for tiktok and once you do that tap on storage and on application info. Now clear cache at the bottom of the corner and tap on clear data from the bottom left. From the popup select ok .
After you select ok all the data will be permanently from your tiktok.
