How to fix weird grey glitch when importing bandicam videos into Premiere Pro
Those of you who make screen casting videos would know how time consuming it is to make one. After you finally make a screen cast video successfully, you then have to edit it in Premiere Pro. How big of a disappointment it would be if, once you imported it, the video doesn't work?
That's exactly what happened to me. I imported a screen cast video into Premiere Pro, and then when I'm playing the video inside Premiere Pro for editing, half of the frames are greyed out and glitching as I play the video. You can see it in the first couple of minutes of this video for what it looks like.
The way to fix this, however, is quite simple. I just had to export it first in Premiere Pro using certain settings, then re-import the previously exported video, and it worked. What is the reason for this? It could be that the export process re-encodes the video better into a format that the in-program video player can better process, so it doesn't get glitched out. Hope this helps!
