Magic Monk Brazilian Zouk Social Dance 2022
2They say when you're dancing with someone, that person is the most important person in your life for the duration of the song. My friend Daria was the most important person in my life during this song. It was really fun dancing with her! She actually asked to make this recording to show her family and friends what Zouk dancing looks like, which I was glad to be part of.
It's been 3 months since I returned to serious zouk lessons. You can see that I'm still mainly doing beginner moves such Passo Basico, Lateral, Prep Lunge, boomerang, reverse boomerang and so on. I did do a ragdoll which we learned properly in class recently so I'm still not doing it perfectly yet. I also threw in a few moves from the international zouk day routine such as a kombre and a body roll.
Are any of my viewers regular partner dancers? If so which types of dance do you do? Feel free to leave a comment and talk dancing to me! As you can see in the video, the style of dance I'm doing is Zouk. I really like the RnB style of music. Other than swing dancing this is definitely my favourite.
