How to Force the Best Video Quality (VP9) on YouTube - Bad Quality Fix
Uploading to GoogleDrive no longer forces VP9. See this updated video: https://youtu.be/pfszfVlKyZg
I finally managed to do a full tutorial on how to get the best possible video quality on YouTube for you. First I discuss a couple of easy ways to improve your video quality without talking to much about your render settings and then we get into the thick of things looking at how to force the awesome VP9 codec as well as 2K or 4K resolution on your videos!
7 steps easy steps to perfect quality on YouTube:
1. Disable re-sampling on your clips
2. Add color corrector or sharpener (especially when rendering at a higher resolution than your clips are recorded in)
3. Use "Custom frame size" together with
2,560 x 1,440 (2K resolution)
3840 x 2160 (4K resolution)
4. Untick "Allow source to adjust frame size"
5. Untick "Allow source to adjust frame rate"
6. Upload to GoogleDrive
7. Import your video from Google Drive on the upload page
Profit!!
