How To Format USB Device On Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7:
Step 1: Begin by connecting your USB storage device to a USB OTG adapter (link above). This is because the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has a USB-C port and the drive is likely a USB-A one. However, if you have a USB-C storage device, then you should be good to go.
You can also use other adapters, like the one linked above from Anker to connect your flash drive to your Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Step 2: Connect the adapter to your Galaxy Z Fold 7, making sure to plug it into the type-C charging port. You will see a USB icon in the status bar of your Z Fold 7, as well as a "USB Storage Added" notification in the notification bar.
Step 3: Open the My Files app and tap on the hamburger menu in the top-right corner. Here, locate the USB device from the list of storage devices. This option is typically found in the device's settings menu under the "Storage".
If your Galaxy Z Fold 7 is connected to multiple USB devices, ensure that you select the correct one before proceeding with the eject process.
