How To: Frost - Rainbow 6 Siege Operator Guide & Gameplay
157Hey guys, and welcome to the Black Ice DLC Operator guide series! For the final operator we will be looking at the Canadian Defender Frost, and the tactics behind her Welcome Mat ability.
Her Bear trap/Welcome mat, has the ability to incapacitate attackers and can be placed anywhere on the floor on the map. The trap can only incapacitate an enemy player - not kill them. The only time it will kill is when the enemy it traps is the last remaining opponent, or at least, the last one standing. A bonus of the trap is that for as long as an opponent is trapped in the Welcome Mat, they are unable to move - or escape - from the area they went down. It should be quite easy to lure in other opponents thanks to this.
This ability adds new dynamics to the gameplay, since it cannot be destroyed by Thatcher, Twitch, or by any electronic means; it can also be hard to spot under windows and through doors, and will make it difficult for shield defenders like Blitz or Montagne to proceed safely without exposing themselves.
