Hey everyone! Today I am going to show you how to get yourself a Galarian Slowpoke.

Now, I’m starting in front of the poke center in Motostoke but this isn’t required. The first thing you want to do is download the new update for the Sword and Shield DLCs, which came out on January 9th, 2020. After you download the update start up your game and make sure you connect to the internet at least once. As a note, you will be catching the Galarian Slowpoke in battle so you do not need to make room in your party for the Slowpoke.

Your next step is to head to Wedgehurst Station where a train from the Isle of Armor will just be arriving. Head to Wedgehurst and make your way into the station. A quick cutscene will occur when you enter that station where the train conductor will announce that the train has arrived from the Isle of Armor. Avery in Shield or Klara in Sword will approach the conductor. Go up to the two and talk to them. Another cutscene will occur where the train conductor asks for Avery or Klara’s armor pass. Then our chunky boi Galarian Slowpoke will walk into the room.

Interact with the slowpoke and the conductor will ask you to battle the Slowpoke to get it out of the way of the ticket gate. You will then get a chance to catch the Slowpoke in a quick battle. The Slowpoke will be level 12. To make quick work of the Slowpoke, make sure you have some quick balls and you’ll be able to catch it with no problem at all. Once the battle ends, you’ll be treated to one final cutscene where Avery or Klara will compliment you and bid you farewell.

Afterwards, you are done and you have your very own Galarian Slowpoke. Enjoy your taste of the Isle of Armor DLC and good luck breeding a shiny one! Thanks for watching.
