How to get Barrow-Dyad 2nd Catalyst | Hatchling | Path of Will: Ambition | Lacking Tithe
23The 2nd Catalyst is found in Part 2 of Act II Story.
You will need to finish the new Story up until you get the Seasonal challenge for finishing Part 2.
Path of Will: Ambition quest. You need to be on Path of Ambiton with the shaping slab. Everyone gets stuck with the orge at low health. All you need to do is use a finisher on it.
After that, you can head to the trenchway for the secret area. Using the hidden platforms to the tithe area on the left.
If it says you're lacking tithe. It could be the new Path of Ambiton Worm Tithes. There are 8 in total. 2 in each area. Easy to spot with a waymarker on the Radar when near one.
It can also be unlocking more secrets in the nether.
Like the orge secret with the 3 braziers on the other side but I think its the 8 worms. Try both if anything.
After being worthy. Open both chests to get the Spine. Take the spine back to the Shaping slab to get the Hammer's Path.
The 1st step is to get the 3 upgrades in Path of Ambition. That is getting Max Rank with the vendor (12).
I Pre-Grinded as I knew it was the first step. So I could tell you guys what I did.
So the main grind will be normal Nether. Each boss kill will give rep. While doing the 3 areas. You will want to pick the essentia. 2 in each area. 1st will give 2 in total and 2nd and 3rd area 1 = 2 on pick up. So 4 for each area. 10 in total for a full run.
Deposit them in the taken altar for 200 rep. So by doing all of that, you'll be getting about 700 per nether run. With mostly needed 1k rep to rank up.
While also remember that getting kills can drop the orb that you can consume. It can be pretty common but just need to pay attention. Those are +20 rep each time. So could be earning a lot in the nether.
You could do a run of court of blades but you can only get rep at the end of one run and it's not as much as the nether. Though every day you can deposit 5 essentia at the altar at the end instead of 10.
Once you max out the ranks. You will get Step 2.
Which is to beat Expert Nether with a shotgun, glaive, sword and Barrow-Dyad. You might be able to swap before the chest but I just used whatever in Nether the quest told me to.
Once done. You can head to the enclave to equip it.
The next 2 Catalyst will be unlocked in Act III. Target Locka and One for All
