- You must unlock the Regi Doors in the Sealed Chamber before catching Registeel.
- For Ruby and Sapphire; once you have reached the Braille, walk in the middle of the room, and use HM 02 Fly. Hence the Braille reading: "With new time, hope and love, aim to the sky in the middle."
- For Emerald; it will read: "Those who inherit our will, shine in the middle." Instead of using Fly, you will use Flash, so make sure you have HM 05 Flash.
- You must obtain HM 02 Fly or HM 05 Flash to reach Registeel.
