In this video, I'm going to show you how to get satellite view on Google Maps on Android. Open the Google Maps app on your phone. And as you can see, we are in the standard viewing mode with Google Maps. If we tap on the icon, in the top right, that has a square in it.


Tap on this, you'll now see an option for map type just tap on Satellite. Tap on the X button to close the pop-up menu. And now you can see we are in satellite view on Google Maps. If you want to change it back, just do the same thing by hitting the icon in the top right tapping on default and hitting the X button again and that will bring it back to the normal viewing mode.
