How to Add a GIF Background in Google Chrome!
3In this video, I'm going to show you how to add a GIF background in Google Chrome on your desktop. The first thing that you want to do is find the gif that you want to use for your background. So to do this, I have Google Chrome open and I'm gonna tap on the images option in the top right corner and in the search bar, I am going to type in a particular, search term for a gif that I want.
Once we hit the search term, it will mostly bring up just still pictures. So now what we need to do is hit the tools option, just under the search bar and then you will see more options tap on the type option. And then tap on the GIF setting, this will then produce a list of results of gifs with the search term that you have used.
So go ahead and find the gif that you want to use. Once you have the gif tap into it, right, click on your mouse and tap on save image as. All we need to do is add dot PNG to the name that it has given. So, just make sure you put in dot PNG at the end of this.
Then had the save button, I'm using a mac so it has brought up use dot png or use dot gif. I'm going to select use dot png. Okay, so now that is the first step by getting the GIF. Now we have to apply the GIF as our background.
So open a new tab in Google Chrome at the bottom right hand corner you should see a pencil icon tap on this and then you should see an option to upload from device. Again, tap on this option, find the GIF that you just downloaded. Tap on it and tap on the open option.
