10To buy Catch Up Gear you need Argent Commendation.
Argent Commendation is reward from Quests and Dailys during Scourge event pre-patch.
After complete all dailys on the day a good way to stay grinding Argent Commendation is by killing rares in Icecrown (20 minutes respawn), and return Pitch Black Scourgestone on the repeatable daily Pitch Black Scourgestones.
I spend around 7 hours to kill all 20 rares and my loot is:
1x Hailstone Loop.
1x Zod's Echoing Longbow.
1x Chestguard of Siphoned Vitality.
1x Ring of Carnelian and Sinew.
1x Handgrips of Rime and Sleet.
1x Frostsworn Rattleshirt.
812x Pitch Black Scourgestone.
69x Darkened Scourgestone.
