This is the alternate and easier way to get the Bombers' Notebook. In order to get it this way you'll have to still know the secret code. Otherwise you'll have to get the notebook the normal way by playing Hide & Seek with the Bombers again. See the video link below for the normal way if necessary.

If you still know the secret code then, as human Link, tell the code to the kid with the yellow bandana. Enter the hideout, turn around, then head back out. When you walk up the little alleyway Jim will approach you and give you the notebook because he's so impressed that you knew the code without passing his test.
