UPDATE: You can only get armor from the secret chests if you've previously acquired that piece of armor. Otherwise you're only going to have a chance to get regular and Enhanced raid mods!

Here's a guide for getting the Garden of Salvation raid loot free from the first chest completely solo on a Titan. You can open each chest in the raid once perk week, per character.

Some things to note:
[1.] You can get to this chest alone and then invite others into your game and they should spawn in this jumping puzzle section. They can grab the loot and you can use another player to host the game so you can get all of the loot on each character.

[2.] Yes you need a Sword. Yes you need the Year 1 Lion Rampant Exotic boots if you're on a Titan. Yes this is possible on console as just as easy (source: I learned to sword fly in the 2 years I played Destiny 2 on console!)
