How to Get the Pendants of Virtue in Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Part 2 of this Play Through!
In The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, obtaining the Pendants of Virtue is a key part of the early game, required to retrieve the Master Sword. Here's a concise description for a guide or walkthrough section on this process:
Obtaining the Pendants of Virtue in A Link Between Worlds
To prove your worth and claim the Master Sword, Link must collect three Pendants of Virtue—Courage, Power, and Wisdom—scattered across Hyrule. Each pendant is guarded within a dungeon, testing Link’s skills and adaptability.
Pendant of Courage (Eastern Palace):
Located east of Hyrule Castle, this dungeon introduces the Bow (rented from Ravio). Use it to solve switch puzzles and defeat the boss, Yuga, who transforms into a painting. Reward: Green pendant.
Pendant of Power (Tower of Hera):
North of Hyrule Field, this vertical dungeon requires the Hammer to smash pegs and navigate floors. Defeat the boss, Moldorm, by striking its tail while avoiding being knocked off. Reward: Red pendant.
Pendant of Wisdom (House of Gales):
Found on an island in Lake Hylia, this dungeon demands the Tornado Rod to clear obstacles and stun enemies. The boss, Margomill, is defeated by disrupting its segments with the rod. Reward: Blue pendant.
With all three pendants collected, head to the Lost Woods to pull the Master Sword from its pedestal, unlocking the path to confront Yuga and save Hyrule and Lorule.
