Until there is official Workshop Support for Arma 3 and DayZ on Steam OS, the experience of those games running on the Steam Deck will be limited to the vanilla options of Official Servers & Mod-Free Community Servers, however in this video tutorial I show you a work-around to get Arma 3 & DayZ Steam Workshop mods working.
For myself though, until official mod support arrives, I'll be sticking to my gaming PC & Xbox for Arma 3 & DayZ.
