Hi, this video shows a Google Home working on a WIRED internet connection. You can use a Chromecast Ethernet Adapter which is the easiest option. In the video I connected up a Micro USB OTG cable and a Y USB cable and a USB to Ethernet adapter.
An easy option to get internet to a Google Home in a location with a weak WiFi signal is to use Powerline adapters with WiFi Boost.
