This quick video teaches you how to record separate audio tracks in OBS. This method allows you to set each audio device to have its own audio track. In OBS you can have up to 6 tracks.

To assign the tracks to your input devices you will need to access the advanced properties in the audio mixer. Here you will see a list of six boxes to the side of each device. Check only the track you would like the audio to be on. Eg Desktop Audio on Track 1, and Mic Audio on Track 2.

When you play back your recording in a media player typically only track one will be heard. However you can ensure that the clip has multiple tracks by importing it into editing software, such as adobe premiere or vegas pro.
