OBS has a series of inbuilt themes to select from. These themes change how the software looks on a graphic level. In the newer versions of OBS the default appearance is dark, as it is one of the more preferred themes.

There are other themes that you can use, all with their own unique style. To change your OBS theme open the settings via the bottom right corner. You should already be on the general tab, at the top you will notice theme. Click the drop down menu and you will see all the available themes. Simply click on one to choose it.
