The Windows desktop is a great place to store all of your important files, folders and programs. It allows you to display your favorite program shortcuts in an easy to reach location. Over time it is easy to fill up your desktop, making it look cluttered and tacky. Fortunately you can hide all of your desktop icons quickly.

By default the desktop icons are set to be shown, you can turn off this feature to hide them with ease. Hiding your desktop icons will remove all files and folders from being seen. All the files will still be stored on your desktop, however they won't be visible.
