If you want to hide the red recording symbol while screen recording on your iPhone or iPad, this quick guide will show you how. When you start screen recording through Control Center, a red symbol usually appears at the top—on the upper-left corner or within the Dynamic Island, depending on your device. If you’re using an iPhone 14 Pro, 15, or any model with Dynamic Island, simply tap on the red indicator or Dynamic Island area to hide the recording symbol.
