USB Mic too low on Windows 10? This is a common issue with USB headsets that don't have dedicated mic drivers and this has been a problem with every version of Windows since 8.1 with Microsoft not really releasing a fix yet. So if you want to boost mic volume on Windows 10 then you can leverage APO and PEACE to act as a filter and manually apply some gain to microphone on a headset or standalone USB mic. The key with adding gain is to find balance because it can pick up any background noise/fans, as well.
Again, Windows 10 isn't kind to USB mic headsets and if you need to boost your Mic Gain you may need to use software like APO and PEACE to boost the gain:
Equalizer APO: https://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo/
PEACE interface for APO: https://sourceforge.net/projects/peace-equalizer-apo-extension/?source=directory
I have used APO and PEACE to increase mic volume for the following headsets when plugged in via USB
HyperX Cloud 2
Gamdias Hephaestus P1 RGB
Supsoo G800
But it will boost your mic gain with any USB mic or headset on Windows 10.
