How to install 16GB DDR3 1600 MHz RAM to Mac Mini Late 2012 Model
I just bought a new Mac Mini (late 2012 model) and to be honest the RAM upgrade by Apple is pretty expensive so I had decided to upgrade myself.
I had a bargain from my locally bought 02 x 8GB RAM (Kingston 1600MHz DDR3) at SGD $89 each.
I know it's not the cheapest but it's much cheaper then the original price the sales man tried to sell me, I had to bargain it down.
Here, I demonstrated how you can install the RAM by yourself without paying a premium to Apple which sells the 02 x 8GB RAM DDR3 1600MHz at a whopping SGD $420 where I just paid SGD $178 with a savings of SGD $242!!!
The upgrade is only tricker on the final RAM installation which I found out that the angle of the slot is slightly higher than I expected, otherwise the installation is basically painless.
I had filmed the entire instructions commentary using iPhone 5 and edited using iMovie 11.
The voice is me and there are no background sound used.
