How To Install A SSD In A Laptop Full Tutorial | Samsung 1TB SSD In A Predator Helios 300
When I first bought the Acer Predator Helios 300 Laptop for Black Friday, I knew that the storage was limited (only came with 256GB M2.Drive) so I knew I would end up buying more storage.
Here is a video of me installing a solid state drive into the laptop, and configuring it so that it is fully functioning. Below is a timeline in the video so you can skip ahead to certain parts!

Summary:
I was on the Amazon website examining the drive to buy.
I then received the drive in the mail and tested to make sure the computer works before messing around with it.
I then unscrewed the back of the laptop, popped it off and then put the SSD in the little HDD Upgrade Kit that came with the laptop.
I tried booting up the PC to see if it worked - I noticed it didn't work (it didn't show up under My PC nor did it show up in Disk Management)
Tried readjusting the ribbon and flipping the SSD entirely.
Still didn't register in My PC
Went to Disk Management and noticed new drive.
Successfully created a "New Volume" on the drive
The solid state drive was successfully installed and working on my laptop.
