First of all, thanks to Eric Sauvageau, the man behind Asuswrt-Merlin firmware for lot of Asus wireless routers. Merlin firmware has most of the features from the original stock Asus firmware. In addition, the lot of new features have been added or enhanced. Personally, I prefer Merlin firmware over the stock one. And if your Asus wireless router are following one of them – RT-N66U, RT-AC66U, RT-AC66U_B1, RT-AC56U, RT-AC68U, RT-AC68P, RT-AC68UF, RT-AC87, RT-AC3200, RT-AC88U, RT-AC3100, RT-AC5300, RT-AC1900, RT-AC1900P and RT-AC86U, do try Merlin firmware then.
