UPDATE PLEASE READ: Simply running the install completely through PlayOnLinux now works like a charm, (thanks to what flint22 mentioned in the comments)! Simply start PlayOnLinux, choose Install, and then find Diablo 3 from the list!! Awesome STUFF!!!!


Today I actually put up something productive! I had read on the PlayOnLinux guides that Diablo 3 (and Reaper of Souls) can work in Linux with varying luck, so I gave it a shot and it worked.

Basic Specs:
Linux Mint 18 "Sarah" x64
(MATE desktop shown, Cinnamon works too)
Intel i5 3.80Ghz
8 GB Ram
Nvidia Geforce 650 GTX 2GB
Wine Version 1.9.16 (32bit)

So I'm sharing - but I'm not a dev, I don't support either program. Just a Linux user messing around. See official forums for help:
