Getting Unity3D 4.x to work on Linux. This tutorial is mostly focused on x64 Linux at the start however it will work fine on x32.

Notes:
MonoDevelop doesn't start. You could launch it manually if you have the mono runtime installed or you could install the mono runtime under wine! I don't use it however if you would like to use it that should work(unconfirmed?)
