If you are using one of the popular Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, #LinuxMint and you want to use Microsoft's Windows operating system on your computer, you can do this by installing VMware Workstation.
VMware Workstation is a paid and professional virtualization software, but you can also use the free version Player. Also, you can try the program for 30 days before deciding to buy it and decide to buy it later.
You can follow this video tutorial or the steps below to install #VMware software to create a virtual machine on the latest version of Linux Mint.
Step 1: Visit the website from the link below to download VMware to your Linux computer.

Step 2: Click Download in the "VMware Workstation 17 for Linux" option on the VMware download page.
Step 3: To install the package extension program you downloaded to your computer, open the terminal and go to the Downloads section using the cd command.
Step 4: When you list the contents of the directory with the ls command, you can see the bundle file.
Step 5: Use the chmod command to make the package file executable.
Step 6: Run the package file with the sudo command to install the Workstation software.
Step 7: After installing VMware Workstation, install the necessary dependent packages.
Step 8: Find VMware from the start menu and run it.
Step 9: Accept the license agreement of the VMware program and the OVF Tool agreement.
Step 10: When you run the program, enable checking for updates at startup and confirm to participate in the VMware customer experience improvement program.
Step 11: In the product key window, type your license key if you purchased the program. If you only want to test the program, activate the 30-day trial period.
Step 12: You can find out the version of the virtualization software you have installed from the Help/About location.
