To join a friend’s game or server in Rust on PC, follow these steps:

Find Out the Server Name or IP:
Ask your friend for the server name or IP address they are playing on.
Join via Server Browser:

Launch Rust and go to the Play Game menu.
Select Servers and use the search bar to find the server by name.
Once you find the server, click on it and select Join Server.

Join via Steam Friends:

If your friend is already playing, you can join their game through Steam.
Open your Steam friends list, right-click your friend’s name, and select Join Game.
Create a Team:

Once in the game, you can create a team to easily find and play with your friends.

Press Tab to open the inventory, then click on the Create Team button.
Approach your friends in-game and press E to invite them to your team.
