EDIT: Most recent patch notes say safe-spotting for this fight has been fixed. I assume that means it’s gone, but I can’t test it because the bear doesn’t respawn. I still believe you can kill this thing with very low level equipment if you abuse the other techniques I talked about, you just don’t have the safety of the bridge anymore.

Well, I might not have been able to make a full guide, but hopefully this little tidbit helps people, especially the ones that don't want to bother grinding out scout levels.

It is pretty nice that just doing this quest boosts you to around level 22 scout. Combat feels like such an unrewarding skill to grind in this game, as only drops seem to power you up in any meaningful way.

Anyways, with this quest done, I'm off to episode 3, and hopefully you will be too!
