On Tuesday, the 29th of April, Infold has released the update 1.5 for Infinity Nikki together with Steam release for the same game at the same time. They have retconned the story, dived deep into scummy monetization practices and bugged out their game so badly that their mobile and PS5 players couldn't even log in.

Chinese players have started a mass protest and the developers launched a vague threat in Terms of Service and released a non-apology.
