Step #1: Be faster than everyone else.

Besides that, have the ghost spawn somewhere other than it's normal spot. Get your teammates to think the ghost is following you when really, you're getting farther from the ghost while they are remaining in the same spot. And finally, hide directly on top of your teammate but suck it in better... I guess.
