How to land an airplane when Both Engines Fail | X-Plane 11 tutorial
Welcome to this X-Plane 11 Tutorial, I will explain you how to land an airplane when Both Engines Fail. We fly in a Boeing 737-800 from Turkish Airlines above Istanbul new airport (LTFM). Our fly height is 7000 feet. During the flight we do not actually turn off the engines but bring the throttles to idle position. Now we fly the plane with the engines in the sky looking for an airport. In this case it will be Istanbul new airport.
During the landing we also see that our nose wheel no longer comes out. We make an emergency landing with the airplane. In this X-Plane 11 tutorial you will see, among other things, that both engines of our airplane have failed and I will explain you how to proceed.
Most importantly, keep the airplane speed constant at 190 knots and reach at least 5000 feet above the airport. Finally we fly into the downwind leg to finally land. good luck with the instructions on how to land an airplane with both engines fail.
