leveling from 16 to 20 is a grind but by using my methods you can make it less daunting. first take mammats off automation and gather your leavings. its 1000 exp per day and 4000k for your crops every two days with your leavings. casual way is letting your workshop do the work using the overseas casuals discord or reddit for day to day workshop set up. next is gathering which gives 10 exp per gathering point. the summit is the fastest spot to gathering exp 1000 points every tenth cycle. upgrading your graneries cozy cabin and workshops will give you a one time exp boost at certain ranks. last is crafting restraints and feed for animals. which must be used in order to make more due to not be able to discard them. its 10 exp per item crafted.
