How to Make a 12v LED Dimmer - Analogue Controller Circuit With Color Selector - Tutorial
11How to make a 12v LED dimmer strip controller circuit, this is a dimmer circuit for RGB LED or a fixed color LED strip and adds the fine tuned dimming after proper equations. It also includes diagram for a 2-colour selector, more colors can be selected if more switches are added. I originally wanted to make a RGB color mixer and that will be a future project, but right now I am happy with this circuit, it works well!
This tutorial is long because I explain every step of it in detail and give you the tools to be able to use this knowledge to all similar voltage regulation circuits and how to not destroy your components ;)
This DIY electronic blast uses the LM317 IC, Two 100μF Capacitors, 510Ω Resistor, 5000Ω Potentiometer (B Linear), Two Switches, Heat-Sink and a 12v RGB LED stick.
