1Natsuki talks about Persistent Playthroughs, which can be used to do things, like create a "new game plus" or multiple acts like with the original DDLC. Something similar was done with the original Captive Heart, but I was not behind the coding for that game. I only did the main story writing, so I had no idea how that was accomplished at the time.
