How to Make a DJ Role with Hydra Music Bot in Discord
122The Hydra music bot allows you to create DJ roles which gain additional permissions and options when controlling the bot. The DJ role can be given to anyone in your server and there can even be multiple DJ roles. This allows you to add moderators or admins as a Hydra bot DJ without needing to assign the specified DJ role.
By default any role named “DJ” will automatically work. However additional roles can be added using the Discord command.
Unfortunately the Hydra music bot can not be restricted to only allow DJs to control the bot. The alternative is to make the Hydra music request channel only viewable to other members, and remove all of their other permissions. This will allow Discord sever members to see what songs are being played and requested, without having any control of Hydra bot.
