A little dive into game tutorials and how to teach players how to play without them realizing they are in an invisible tutorial. Basically a game design tutorial, a game tutorial tutorial XD. How to use non intrusive level design to onboard the player into a game. I took a bit of inspiration from GMTK's Mark Brown on puzzle platformers and onboarding in general. Not really a devlog, but I walk you through an old game of mine that won a gamejam and did a good job to onboard the players.
